The title of this post is the title of the latest release by the Kings Of Leon. It’s pretty spiffy, if simple, song. It is getting a ton of airplay here and I really like this song.

The Kings of Leon is a group made up of three brothers and a cousin that formed in Nashville, TN. They achieved there initial success in the UK. While they did get some critical notice at home, it was not until last year, with their fourth album Only by the Night, that they achieved some fame here in the US.

I had heard there song Sex on Fire when a listener of the station I was a DJ for requested it. I thought the group sounded okay but never got around to listening to any of the other music until this last single came to my attention.

I am currently listening to a random selection of the music of this group, and I have to say they are neither great nor bad. They are your typical American rock band sound, for the most part. The singer is of average talent and the band plays well enough.

The lyrics of the song Use Somebody stand out to me. They caught me because they have meaning to me…which may or may not be the meaning intended by the persons who wrote the song. To quote very loosely:

You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody
Someone like you and all you know and how you speak…

You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody
Someone like you…

I hope it's gonna make you notice
I hope it's gonna make you notice
Someone like me, someone like me
Someone like me, somebody

Here are links to a YouTube Video and the full lyrics, give them a look-see. I think odds are good you will like the song too.
